AAA Electrician

Compensation:

• Competitive starting pay range of $34.62-$42.98 per hour, paid weekly

• 1st and 2nd shift
• 5-2-2-5
• 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Responsibilities

Maintains PLC/HMI information systems to improve metrics to meet operations goals.

• Maintain facility equipment original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications
• Oversees the maintenance of the facility's electrical assets
• Conducts electrical repairs to the manufacturing equipment
• Maintains maintenance records for electrical work performed
• Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision
• Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area
• Maintains excellent safety record
• Maintains excellent attendance record
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience
• At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities
• At least two (2) years of experience in electrical systems and controls
• Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred

Qualifications

Physical requirements:

This position is located in a manufacturing location. Physical requirements will include, but are not limited to:

• Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
• Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)
• Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
• Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)

Working conditions:

• Must be proficient in electrical and controls knowledge; Allen Bradley experience preferred
• Must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, and work in a hot/cold environment
• Must have a proficient knowledge of hand, power, and diagnostic tools
• Must have personal tools up to one (1) inch

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical school certificate or diploma in a specific work-related area, such as electronics technology, electro-mechanical engineering technology, etc., preferred
