Accounts Payable Clerk : An opportunity to expand your accounting skills and knowledge! Our Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for all aspects of processing and payment of accounts payables, maintaining A/P files and reports, and cost accounting allocations. Payable responsibilities will include freight, materials, office supplies, medical supplies, fuel, rent, food, utilities, phone, vision cards, food cards, W-9s,1099s, credit applications, tax exempt certificates, check stop payments, etc. Issues purchase orders and acts as purchasing agent of office supplies. Responsible to serve as a backup for other accounting positions as assigned. M-F 8-4:30 Hiring immediately. EOE

Requirements for Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • High school diploma or accredited GED
  • Training/education in bookkeeping
  • One to two years accounts payable work experience
  • A working knowledge of accounting procedures and accounts payable procedures
  • Work experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Good organizing skills and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Requires walking to other campus buildings for delivery or pick up as needed
  • Other beneficial experience – Accounts payable, accounting clerk, data entry, accounts receivable, accounting, A/P, clerical, confidentiality, detail oriented, cost accounting allocations.
