The Admitting Representative will provide efficient, timely, courteous registration services to ensure a high level of customer service. Create a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while performing the tasks of preadmitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, family or visitors. Primary responsibility is to assist patients and their families in accessing services and to act as an advocate and navigator until the patient is handed off to clinical staff. This position is part-time and located ONSITE at Community Memorial Hospital in Ojai, CA. Shift: 12-hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, Day & Night shifts - rotating weekends & holidays. Shifts vary from 11:30am-8:00pm, 7:00am-1:00pm, 7:00pm-7:30am or 7:00am-7:30pm. Requirements include High School Diploma OR GED, zero or more years of hospital/medical/clinical experience OR customer service experience. Preferred qualifications include bilingual in English and Spanish, one or more years of hospital/medical/clinical or customer service experience, data entry experience, and familiarity with health plans/insurances.
