We currently have a great opportunity for a Full Time Tag Agency Clerk at our agency located in Hammond, LA. We offer a great working environment, great pay, full benefits, Vacation after 90 days of employment, and ** We will Train the right candidate**

Summary: This is a customer service based, entry level position that directly assists clients with tag and title needs. It also requires, but is not limited to, basic office duties, such as answering phones, filing, and scanning.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Provides direct customer service.

2. Provides telephone and/or email customer service.

3. Completes Motor Vehicle forms and title documents.

4. Keeps office and paperwork organized.

5. Stops, starts, and returns to interrupted tasks.

6. Scans and files documents.

7. Maintains inventory control.

8. Prepares transactions for Motor Vehicle Run.

9. Reviews and corrects completed transactions.

10. Checks through completed transactions and/or pending transaction files and contacts clients as reminder.

11. Research, verify and process documents for titles and registrations on vehicles, boats and recreational vehicles.

12. Processing of handicap permits.

13. Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

14. Interacting with the general public on a daily basis.

15. Responding promptly and politely to customer inquiries.

16. Acknowledging and resolving customer issues.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:
Ability to pass criminal background check

Pay – Hourly pay will be based on experience and knowledge.

If an applicant is qualified, an interview will be set up with the hiring Manager. If selected for the position, an application and background check form will be forwarded for completion. Once the results of the background are received and cleared, an offer of employment will be forwarded, and a start date can be determined. The Onboarding (new hire) process will be forwarded on the first day of employment.
