The Dry Packaging Operator I is responsible for the packaging of product while following safety and quality requirements. Starting pay $19.03 $1.50 shift premium for night shift Double-time on Sunday’s Thursday -Saturday every other Sunday 5PM-5AM Place bags/totes on pallets. Fill bags/totes and ensure proper labeling. Seal bags/totes. Sustain and support automated systems. Clean and sanitize all parts of packaging department including walls, floors, and equipment. What you need: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP). Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists and complete required documentation. Decisions administered soundly and consistently with policies and in compliance with appropriate laws and regulations. Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment. Where you’ll be working: Our Jerome, ID, plant is home to approximately 400 employees and processes approximately 7 million pounds of milk per day. This facility produces various types of cheeses, such as; mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, muenster, parmesan, romano, Monterey jack, gouda, and asiago. They also run various whey streams, such as; deproteinized whey, sweet dairy whey, GMP, permeate, instantized, and our top-rated BiPro products.
