Aluminum Fabricator Supervisor ( Relocation Available )

(Must have custom aluminum door fabrication experience in the glass industry/ This is not a welding position )

Trulite is GROWING!  We are looking for a  Aluminum Fabricator Supervisor to be based at our  New Orleans, LA location.

A successful Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that our aluminum fabricator department operates at peak efficiency while constantly looking to improve output. They oversee and conduct training for new team members, provide feedback and develop their team. The person filling this position will be a working Aluminum door Fabricator, must be adaptable to ever changing business environments and departmental need changes as well as inter departmental, general business and customer communication and confidentiality. This position is a Salary Exempt position and will report directly to the Operation Manager.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Will be a working Supervisor:
• Commercial  ALUMINUM door and frame fabrication and assembly
• Attaching hardware (stock and custom) per application.
• ALUMINUM Fixed Frame Fabrication
• Custom Door Hardware application
• Cutting, Drilling, Milling, and other process as needed/required.
• Keeps work area in a neat, safe, clean, hazard free condition.
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment at the end of each day.
• Inspects products for any abnormalities and notifies supervisor immediately of any issues.
• Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.
• Ability to safely perform tasks.
• Adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• A history of great work attendance. 

Skills You Bring:

• 5 years custom aluminum door fabricating experience  in the glass industry.
• Custom door hardware application experience.
• Prior lead or supervisor experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Proficiency in operating machinery.
• Knowledge of operating CNC machines highly preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suites.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to use power tools.
