Job Description



Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay: Starting at $22.00 per hour , effective $23.32 including PTO and 401K
  • Paid Time Off accrues on Day 1
  • 2 day Paid Training

4 days Work week, weekend day REQUIRED (Ranging 8-10 Hr. days) starting always at 10 AM

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately. You will start and end your day at the Amazon Warehouse in Danbury CT.

Work Environment
  • Each driver will be assigned a daily delivery route and will be responsible for delivering Amazon packages in a timely manner using an Android smartphone device and Amazon-branded vehicles.
  • You will operate a Cargo Van to deliver packages to residential and commercial locations. Frequently entering and exiting of the vehicle, walking up and down driveways and stairways, and following established delivery protocols and procedures in all weather conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Lift, push, pull and move packages constantly, using repetitive bending motions (up to 60 lbs)
  • Able to move in and out of van, and walk up and down through your shift up 200 times per day.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered
  • Driving and following safety rules at all times, following GPS coordinated route and all traffic laws.
  • Deliver packages to customers in a professional and courteous manner, following all customer instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
  • Show proper time management and organizations skills.

Qualifications



As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States (NO TAX ID)
  • Possess a valid Driver's License in the State of residence and clean Driving Record (No suspensions, multiple accidents, no tickets)
  • Must consent and successfully pass pre-employment test
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
