Apprentice Kitchen and Bath Remodeling Installer/Carpenter
Local Kitchen and Bath Remodeling Company seeks an Apprentice / Remodeling Installer/Carpenter for current and upcoming projects in the Fox Valley Area. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening and be motivated and hard-working. They also need a good work history and reliable transportation. Previous Remodeling Experience is required. The training period will last between six months and one year. Candidates must have verifiable previous experience.
The apprentice carpenter will assist construction personnel with job site tasks. This person will take direction from the carpenter and/or the owner. They should possess basic carpentry skills, perform work in a safe manner, and follow company policies and procedures. Perform carpentry work under direct supervision.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Basic carpentry skills
· Ability to learn and to follow directions carefully
· Ability to perform physically demanding work consistently, including lifting up to 75 pounds
· Ability to perform work according to company standards
· Curiosity and Ability to learn
· Good communication skills
· Neat Appearance
· The Ability to read and understand construction documents
· Reliable vehicle
Must have essential hand tools
· Available to work a thirty to forty-hour work week· Driver’s License and a good driving record.
