The Asphalt Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality asphalt materials, managing plant staff, and maintaining equipment and facilities.

  • Asphalt Plant Manager Responsibilities*
  • Monitor plant performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate plant personnel to maintain a skilled and efficient workforce.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to plant staff, ensuring optimal staffing levels and productivity.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the reliable operation of all plant equipment.
  • Maintain an inventory of necessary parts and supplies.
  • Ensure that all asphalt products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of materials and finished products.
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Manage the procurement of raw materials and supplies necessary for asphalt production.
  • Implement cost-control measures to optimize inventory management.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of the plant’s budget.
  • Monitor and control operational costs to meet financial targets.
  • Provide regular reports on plant performance and financial status to senior management.
  • Asphalt Plant Manager Position Requirements*
  • 2 + years of Asphalt Plant Operations in an asphalt plant management capacity, ideal but not required.
  • Strong working knowledge of asphalt plant operations, equipment, and controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills
