ASSISTANT ACTUARY

North Star Mutual Insurance Company is looking for an individual to perform actuarial analyses and progress toward professional credentials as a casualty actuary. Creating pricing models, preparing reserve analyses, developing actuarial data extracts for actuarial analysis and pursuing the formal education required for Casualty Actuarial Society Membership are key functions of this exciting, fast paced role.

Individuals that have passed at least one Actuarial exam, are self-starters, have strong analytical and math skills, are solid communicators, have a Bigh level of intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving ability are encouraged to apply.

@ Starting Range $65,000 to $70,000 annually

@ Bachelor's degree in math, actuarial science, statistics ora related field preferred. Previous insurance related background for this position would be helpful, but is not required.
