Job Details
We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be licensed in practice in PA.
The ideal candidate will have experience with personal injury cases on the plaintiff side AND/OR defending governmental institutions on the defense side.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel and guidance to the organization on all matters of law, including municipal law, business law, and personal law.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents
Represent the organization in litigation, arbitration, and other legal proceedings.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support the organization's strategic objectives and decision-making processes.
Develop and implement legal strategies and policies to mitigate legal risks and ensure the organization's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to identify potential legal issues and develop practical solutions.
Provide training and education to the organization's staff on legal matters.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law
Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
Must have experience with personal injury cases on the plaintiff side AND/OR defending governmental institutions on the defense side.
Strong knowledge of municipal law and the legal issues affecting the industry.
Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
