Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage and maintain accurate financial records for our business. This role is responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and categorize all financial transactions using QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan statements monthly
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts
• Prepare financial reports (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow reports)
• Manage payroll entries and coordinate with payroll service providers
• Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations
• Assist with preparing documents for tax filing or audits
• Monitor and report on financial variances or irregularities

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certification in Bookkeeping (e.g., AIPB, NACPB)
• Experience with Paycor

Work Environment:

• In-office
• M–F, 8:00–5:00
