Job Description

Job Title: Bookkeeper
$50,000-$70,000

Location: Canonsburg (100% onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable (AP) : Process vendor invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payments.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) : Generate and send invoices, track payments, and handle collections.
• Journal Entries : Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
• Payroll Processing : Manage payroll for all small group of employees, including calculating hours, handling deductions, and ensuring compliance with tax requirements.
• Bank Reconciliations : Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings .

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Construction experience is a plus!
• Strong understanding of payroll, AP, AR, and general ledger processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
