Business Analyst - Contracts
San Antonio, TX
12+ month contract
$28/hr.
ConsultNet is looking for an entry-level Business Analyst to join our contracts management team in San Antonio, Texas. This role will initially be hybrid but will transition to a more remote schedule over time.
Key Responsibilities: - Contract Management Support: Assist a centralized Contract Management team in developing and overseeing contracts across various business areas.
- Procurement Assistance: Support the procurement process, including scoping, mini-bidding, and distributing work.
- Contract Monitoring: Track contract spend, expiration dates, and cost commitments.
- Invoice Processing: Verify and process invoices, and develop standardized reports.
- Metric Tracking: Help develop and track metrics for business processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Requirement Documentation: Collect, document, and maintain business requirements for process-driven tasks.
- Relationship Management: Support relationships with business and contractor/supplier counterparts, becoming a reliable partner who understands business issues.
- Analytical Insights: Create benchmarks and provide insights using analytical techniques to address issues and enhance financial and operational performance.
Requirements: - Experience: At least one year of relevant experience.
- Education: No degree required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency in data analysis, and effective communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Excel and basic procurement tasks.
- Contract Experience: Familiarity with contract management and tracking costs.
