We are seeking Capital Markets Analyst with expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, Life Insurance, and Banking. The ideal candidate will adeptly translate key rating agency requirements to these sectors while understanding industry trends and their alignment with USAA's business strategy. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Direct relationship management experience with various counterparties and a pivotal initiative are needed for success in this role. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position is based in San Antonio, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Responsibilities include completing transactions for specific capital transaction types or lines of business, leading entire capital markets transaction processes, negotiating price, terms and conditions of transactions, advising on debt covenants and restrictions, leading debt ratings and risk evaluation processes, and ensuring risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with policies. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 4-6 years of relevant finance, treasury, capital management or capital markets experience, knowledge of data analysis tools, ability to work with internal and external partners, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with P&C Insurance, Life Insurance, and Banking, understanding of rating agency trends, excellent communication skills, multitasking ability, direct relationship management experience, and strategic thinking.
