Tower Facility Services, Inc. in Orlando, Florida is looking to hire a full-time & Part Time Experienced, highly-motivated carpet cleaning technician to join our team in Orlando and Kissimmee, FL. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, detail- oriented, able to work independently and be dependable to show up on time and on every scheduled work day.

Must have at least 1 to 2 years of carpet cleaning & care experience. The Carpet Care Technician is responsible for carpet cleaning, carpet repairs and water extractions.

Duties and responsibilities:

Perform quality cleaning of carpets, upholstery and tile using carpet extraction cleaning equipment.
Maintain a clean van and properly care for machine, cleaning tools and chemicals
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Work independently, but in conjunction with company management or supervisor.
Communicate effectively with customers (via phone or face-to-face) to ensure customer satisfaction
Complete all required paperwork for billing (via text)
Follow all company policies and procedures when working with clients
Other duties as assigned by management or supervisor

Skills:

• Ability to follow directions accurately and efficiently
• Ability to perform cleans thoroughly but also quickly to keep on schedule
• Good communications skills - English required and Spanish is a Plus.
• Neat appearance and amazing attitude
• Excellent organizational skills (including attention to detail)
• Physical ability to carry hoses, walk stairs and swing the cleaning wand

Job Type: Full-time and Part-Time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (Depending on Experience).

Schedule: 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types: Commission and Tips
Ability to commute/relocate: Orlando and Kissimmee, FL areas.
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Shift availability: Day Shift (Required)
Work Location: In person

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of floor detail experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of basic floor care duties and responsibilities.
• Must have good listening and verbal communication skills. Some positions require the ability to speak English.
• Must maintain a neat appearance. A clean and neatly worn uniform is required at all times.
• Must attend periodic training and safety meetings.
• Must be able to follow directions and perform work per instructions. Must be able to follow building maps to locate work areas.
• Must be punctual.
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds. Anything over 50 pounds requires assistance.
• The repetitive motion involved on a daily basis may include, but is not limited to, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, squatting and lifting.
• Must have knowledge of and be able to operate floor care equipment, which includes but is not limited to, automatic scrubber, buffer, shampoo machine, extractor, wet vac, carpet pile lifter and vacuum.
• Must have knowledge as to proper use and application of floor care products.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, and possess and maintain a good driving record.
