About the Role
Two interconnected businesses founded by leading clinicians at the forefront of mental health and elite performance coaching. USP is a thriving, out-of-network mental health practice in NYC with 60+ clinicians. SportStrata, our performance coaching firm, serves elite athletes, C-suite executives, and high performers, and has tremendous growth potential. We are seeking a strategic and growth-oriented CEO who will work closely with the two founding partners to scale SportStrata exponentially while optimizing financial and operational efficiencies at USP. This role requires a dynamic, hands-on leader who can drive revenue, improve systems, and build on our strong, mission-driven culture. Key Responsibilities Leadership • Inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams of clinicians, mental performance coaches, and administrators and build executive leadership team. • Work closely with the founding partners to align business objectives with long-term vision. • Maintain and strengthen the collaborative, mission-driven, high-performance culture while navigating growth and operational improvements. Strategic Growth • Develop and execute high-impact growth strategies for SportStrata and USP. • Scale SportStrata’s presence in elite sports, corporate coaching, and organizational leadership training. • Position the companies as a market leaders through strategic branding, partnerships, digital expansion, and their own synergistic relationship. • Oversee the launch of new, high-value service offerings, including: o Strata Profile – a premium mental health service integrating genetic analysis, personality assessments, and neurocognitive testing. o Strata Focus—Coaching for organization and attention o AI-enhanced coaching and digital platforms to scale performance enhancement services. Operational Excellence & Scalability • Oversee day-to-day business functions, ensuring smooth execution across finance, HR, technology, and service delivery. • Improve workflows, efficiency metrics, and client experience across both businesses. • Build and lead a high-performing operations team, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Introduce technology and automation solutions to improve scheduling, billing, and service delivery. Financial Management • Implement financial strategies to maximize profitability at USP while driving revenue expansion at Strata Performance. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to ensure sustainable growth. • Develop long-term partnership and compensation structures to attract and retain top clinical and coaching talent. Who You Are • A growth-focused executive with a proven track record of scaling businesses, ideally in healthcare, performance coaching, or professional services. • A financially savvy leader with experience in CFO-style financial oversight, revenue modeling, and strategic capital allocation. • A strategic operator who can execute day-to-day operational improvements while maintaining a long-term vision for expansion. • A people-first leader who can preserve a strong company culture while implementing necessary growth changes. • A collaborative decision-maker who thrives in a founder-led environment and works effectively with high-performing professionals. Qualifications • MBA or equivalent strongly preferred, with expertise in business development, financial management, and operations. • 3+ years of executive leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, mental health, performance coaching, or a related industry. • Strong background in sales, marketing, and scaling service-based businesses.
