Job Description

Medical Assistant needed for a temp / contract opportunity with Yoh's well-known client located in Phoenix, AZ 85085.
Busy clinic that offers Occupational, Primary, and Preventative Care for employees onsite and their families.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
Certified Medical Assistant
Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills
Knowledge & experience with EMR Epic preferred
Minimum of two-three (2-3) years' experience as a Medical Assistant
What You'll Be Doing:
Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts
Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
Schedules appointments and makes follow up phone calls to patients
Performs administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at front desk
May require other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
Available to work: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.
Must be professional and have a positive, can-do attitude
Strong computer skills needed
