*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will work closely with nursing staff to support patient needs, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations while delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist nursing staff with daily patient care activities, including monitoring vital signs and providing basic life support when necessary.
* Perform catheter care and assist with other personal hygiene tasks for patients.
* Support inpatient care by preparing patients for examinations and treatments.
* Utilize eClinicalWorks software for patient documentation and record-keeping.
* Educate patients and their families on health management and community care resources.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

*Experience*
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
* Knowledge of physiology and basic life support techniques.
* Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or teaching hospital is preferred.
* Familiarity with pediatric care practices is a plus.
* Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
* Previous experience in home community care settings is beneficial.
* Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
