About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide strategic leadership and direct oversight of the institution's IT, cyber-security, technology infrastructure, and support services. Candidates for the CIO position at the company should have a master's degree or a bachelor's degree with at least 8-10 years of leadership experience in IT. Experience in a higher education setting is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a track record of effective supervision, engagement, and collaboration with the campus community, as well as a history of modeling outstanding customer service. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, technology management, and external relations. The CIO will also be expected to lead security measures, conduct competitive analysis, and manage vendor contracts. The role demands a leader with the ability to make resource-based recommendations, solve complex technology issues, and provide leadership and development opportunities for technical and support staff.
