Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and serving as a vital member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), this visionary leader will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing people strategies that propel us towards our goals. The ideal candidate possesses experience in high-growth organizations, offering nimbleness, entrepreneurial problem-solving skills, and adept pattern recognition. Additionally, they bring insights from prominent corporations with abundant resources, enabling a clear vision of "world-class" standards in a resource-rich environment. Furthermore, their background in line of business leadership equips them with a deep understanding of internal customer needs, fostering effective People strategies tailored to organizational objectives. As a change agent and process improvement leader, you'll collaborate closely with SLT members, our CEO and Founder John Rice , and the Board of Directors, driving initiatives that reinforce our goals, objectives, and culture. At Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), our purpose is clear: we aim to advance racial equity by elevating economic and career paths for People of Color. Established in 2002, MLT is a national nonprofit committed to closing racial wealth gaps. We believe individuals of Black, Latine, and Native American (BLNA) descent should not only survive, but thrive. Spanning from college to senior-level positions, including C-suite and boards of directors, our comprehensive programs for BLNA talent have impacted over 10,000 people.
