Child Protective Services Specialist Job Details:
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm (schedule is flexible within working hours)
- Pay Rate: $19.50/hr paid weekly!
Child Protective Services Specialist Job Description: - Provide on-going case management and social work services to families in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Assist in assessing family needs, with a strong focus on family preservation and child safety.
- Monitor client progress and ensure ongoing safety through regular contact with caregivers.
- Offer support services related to personal safety, shelter, food, and clothing for families and individuals.
- Support Family Services Supervisors and fellow Child Protective Services Specialists with case management duties.
- Document all client and caregiver interactions for entry into the Child Welfare Automated Information System (CWAIS).

hild Protective Services Specialist Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
- Previous experience in human services, child welfare or social services required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
