At D-Bar-D Trucking we believe in our employees and we want to find the best paying loads for our drivers to make the most they can. We have dispatch on call 24/7. We have a mechanic on call 24/7. We do our best to help our drivers if we can.

About the Job

- We are not accepting SAP Drivers at this time.

- Our drivers generally work 5-6 days and then take a 36 hour reset.
- Drivers can stay out more and make more money, it all depends on how hard you want to work.
- We pay percentage of the load (26%-29% depending on years of experience and then after a 6 month review have a chance to increase this.)
- We offer health insurance, owner pays half of the drivers portion of health insurance.
- We offer paid vacation after 1 year.
- Since we are a small company the first 2-4 months your pay will not be as high as it possibly could be since we are working you into rotation.

Job Summary

• Company Driver (W2, Solo)
• Refrigerated
• OTR
• $1,400 - $1,700 total weekly avg. pay
• 26% of load
• 2,000 - 3,000 avg. miles per week
• Dedicated, Line Haul, LTL
• 5% Driver Load/Unload
• No slip seating

Home Time

• 5 - 6 expected days out
• You can stay out longer if you want to
• Get 1 day of home time for every 5 days worked
• Home at least 2 weekends per month

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Stacking and sorting delivered cargo.
• Loading and unloading cargo while operating cargo handling equipment.
• Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
• Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Orientation Details

• Orientation is not paid for
• Does not cover accommodation
• Drivers get their own room
• No meals are included
• Does not cover any travel expenses

Hiring Requirements

• Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (E) No Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving or (K) Intrastate Only
• 3 years Tractor Trailer experience
