Job Description:

Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area.

As theLead Clinical RN in the Interventional Radiology Department, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and implementing patient care and performance improvement in the unit, demonstrating clinical expertise.
• Managing patient flow, handling crises, directing staff, and making daily operational decisions, overseeing personnel.
• Mentoring staff, ensuring care meets standards, participating in rounds, and collaborating on patient care plans.
• Monitoring operations for fiscal responsibility and coordinating staffing.
• Assuming the role of a staff nurse when needed

Qualifications

Education Required:

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited RN program
• Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program required
• BSN required within 5 years.

Experience Required:

• At least two years of work experience as a nurse and one year clinical experience relevant to the unit’s patient population.

Preferred: Membership in professional nursing organization

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:

Required: Massachusetts Registered Nurse License

Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty
