Job Summary
We are seeking a Companion Caregiver to join our team! In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of four independent women with Down Syndrome by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with light housekeeping, cooking, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.
Responsibilities
Providing companionship and conversation
Prepare meals and snacks
Light housekeeping activities
Dispense medication
Assist with errands and shopping
Laundry
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Caregiver, working with people with disabilities, or similar role is preferred
Must be able to pass a Live Scan
Health screening and TB test
First aid and CPR-certified
Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
Compassionate, respectful, ethical
