Yearlong rolling contract (the client currently has 2 years of back logged work)
We're looking for a talented CAD Drafter with a strong manufacturing background and a concentration in electrical design to join a team in Emporia, KS. In this role, candidates will be responsible for creating, updating, and modifying detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and schematics for electrical systems and components used in manufacturing processes. They will work closely with engineers and designers to develop and modify electrical designs, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements. Their duties will include interpreting technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings to produce accurate CAD models, developing electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions, and conducting quality checks on drawings. Additionally, they will maintain and update CAD libraries and documentation for electrical components, provide technical assistance to the manufacturing team, and resolve design-related issues. Participation in project meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes will also be expected.
