We are looking for a hard-working Concrete Finisher to join our team. You must have at least one year of construction experience, preferably working with concrete. Our ideal candidate is proficient with industry tools, such as a power trowel, and has experience with rebar and steel plates. You also need to communicate effectively on a team. Because this job is physically demanding, you need to have good physical stamina, the endurance to work in all weather conditions, and the strength to lift up to 50 pounds.

Concrete Finisher Duties and Responsibilities

• Review project plans and location of the concrete pour
• Gather and inspect equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
• Install rebar or concrete forms as needed
• Communicate with the concrete team about the timing and completion of each phase of the project
• Use power trowels and vibrating screeds to smooth freshly poured concrete
• Check the finished product to make sure it meets specifications
• Follow all industry and governmental safety protocols
• Maintain equipment and make repairs when necessary

Concrete Finisher Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Familiar with proper handling of materials and equipment
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• A flexible schedule is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
