The responsibilities will vary but generally would include some or all of the following:

• Perform general hands-on physical construction tasks that could include operation of heavy machinery such as skid steer, backhoe, excavator, compactor etc., and performing general carpentry and concrete tasks.
• Perform excavation, trenching, and onsite underground utility install.
• Safely and efficiently perform general construction functions with various types of hand tools and small power tools.
• Study blueprints, sketches or building plans for information on type of material required, constructs concrete forms, places concrete in forms, ties rebar and finished concrete.
• Frame, form, pour, and finish slabs and footers.
• Framing and finish carpentry, drywall and painting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 years minimum experience in Commercial construction.
• Knowledge of construction processes, industry, and delivery methods.
• CDL License is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.
• Ability to work different shifts, long hours (8-12 hours).

Physical Requirements:

Employees must be able to function well with regard to the following:

• Uncontrolled environmental conditions.
• Constant change in weather and site conditions.
• Occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs., routinely lifting 50 lbs.
• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, seeing and reading and reaching to perform everyday job tasks.
  

Travel is required, but in most cases does not involve overnight stays.
