Job Summary: The Copier Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of copier and printer models. This role ensures that equipment is functioning optimally and meets the needs of customers or internal departments. Experience preferred, but willing to train! 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Repair and Maintenance:

   • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with copiers, printers, and multifunction devices.
   • Perform repairs, including replacing parts and making adjustments to ensure proper operation.
   • Conduct routine maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns.

2. Customer Service:

   • Respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries.
   • Explain repair processes and provide recommendations for proper equipment use and care.
   • Maintain a professional demeanor and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Technical Support:

   • Provide on-site technical support and training for customers.
   • Assist with the setup and installation of new equipment.
   • Update software and firmware as needed.

4. Inventory and Documentation:

   • Maintain an inventory of replacement parts and tools.
   • Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and service calls.
   • Submit reports and documentation as required.

5. Continued Education:

   • Stay updated on the latest copier and printer technologies.
   • Participate in training sessions and certifications as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Experience in copier/printer repair or a similar role preferred, but willing to train! 
• Skills: Strong technical and problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to [X] pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
