LOCATION:  Mississauga, ON

SHIFT TIMINGS:  AM/PM - 40-45 hours per week

PAY RATE : $20 - $22/hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with laser cutting technologies.

Duties

• Operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust machinery for optimal performance, including calibration and alignment of laser systems.
• Utilize hand tools and machining techniques to assemble parts as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Use measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions of finished products.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating laser cutting machinery is essential.
• 1+ years' experience as a Laser operator.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.
• Familiarity with welding processes and techniques is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
