Luxholdups is a Brooklyn-based design and manufacturing studio of architectural hardware and furniture making "jewelry for the home”. We work with high quality materials to make extraordinary items for everyday use in the home and commercial spaces. We partner with interior designers and architects across the U.S. and around the world, delivering our products to a global market.

Job Description:

In this role, you will directly support design and product development process. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from concept to execution, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have relevant design knowledge (majoring in industrial design, interior design, graphic design, or equivalent) and superb organizational skills. 

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain a comprehensive library of components, swatches, materials, and samples.
• Manage and update the internal and client facing documents with accurate product details.
• Assist in coordinating photoshoots, including organizing props and products.
• Oversee the organization and archiving of product photography.
• Support the product design process by preparing presentation boards.
• Maintain both physical and digital mood boards to support the design and development process.
• Assist in day to day office/workshop management tasks.

Qualifications:

• Must be based in the New York City Metropolitan area; this is an in-person position in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite; experience with Fusion 360 and 3D printing is a plus.
• Resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
