Director of Health & Wellness - Large Senior Living Community We are seeking an outstanding candidate to join our team at a large senior living community in Kent, WA. Job Description The Director of Health & Wellness is responsible for overall operation of our care department. This includes leadership, training, and oversight of clinical staff who provide care services to our residents. Responsibilities
  • Oversight and responsibility for daily operations of our clinical department
  • Hiring, training, and development of staff in conjunction with your leadership team
  • Work directly with residents to evaluate needs and services to accurately assess, communicate and document resident status on electronic care system
  • Oversight of aides, nurses and other care staff.
  • Other leadership duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Willing to consider candidates that do not hold current LPN or RN, but must have caregiving experience/knowledge.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, Assisted Living, Geriatric Nursing or Gerontology and/or Dementia Care is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control
  • Knowledge of how to develop and utilize service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices and safety procedures
  • Skills in promoting teamwork, leadership, team member empowerment, and responsiveness to residents
