Door & Window Installer

$30/HR depending on experience

8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Looking for an experienced and reliable Installer. Previous experience in remodeling or construction is preferred.

The job consists of installation and the replacement of windows and doors in structures like houses and other buildings. The windows and doors are retro fits mostly.

Must provide your own tools.

Duties Include:

• Install window and door fixtures, equipment, and components according to project specifications.
• Heavy lifting and climbing to fit windows and doors into the correct locations on construction sites or in existing structures.
• Make sure your window and door installations are level, weather-tight, and meet manufacturer specifications.
• Take measurements, markings, cuts.
• Extension jams, stools, aprons, mostly casings.
• Assist with painting and other remodeling duties as necessary.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Perform metal stud framing and drywall installation.
• Ensure proper alignment and levelness of installed items.
• Apply caulk and other sealants to ensure water tightness
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Window and door installation jobs may last one day or weeks, depending on the size of the structure and the number of windows and doors being installed or replaced.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have your own tools.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Need to know how to properly seal and insulate.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Previous remodeling/construction experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 70lbs unassisted
