Position Summary:

As the EHS Manager you will develop, implement and administer workplace Environmental, Health and Safety programs to reduce incidents, maintain compliance and instill a culture of EHS. You will act as the liaison with external regulatory agencies ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local environmental and safety regulations.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Administer all safety/health/environmental programs to ensure the organization meets compliance requirements with Federal/State OSHA, EPA, RCRA and DHEC standards. This includes analyzing, implementing, evaluating, training, auditing and monitoring of all Safety, Environmental and Health Program elements.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analysis
• Lead incident investigation activities
• Maintain Safety, Environmental and Health records and prepare material for inspections, hearings and insurance investigations if required.
• Manage the Safety, Environmental and Health Training commitment including designing training, facilitating training sessions and tracking employee compliance.
• Responds to, coordinates, and supervises hazardous waste emergencies and cleanup activities.
• Performs all administrative duties to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and actively keeps up with changes to regulatory requirements.
• Manages Hazardous Communication program and trains others to standards.
• Positively drives a safety culture and integrates Safety, Environmental and Health into production and office environments.
• Analyze incident data (injury, near miss, first-aid, etc.) to identify areas of high-risk and develop processes to address them.
• Take a hands-on, on the floor approach to analyzing and auditing EHS programs and processes to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, health or safety related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Knowledgeable in EPA, OSHA, DHEC, RCRA regulations preferred
• Strong organizational skills, including written/verbal communication and creative problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to focus when prioritizing multiple projects.
• Proficient in change management, training and problem solving
• Possess working knowledge of manufacturing and operations processes
• Excellent computer operation skills and ability to learn new software platforms: Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Forms, Lists, SharePoint, Excel) and others
