Highlights of your role: Develop, and lead site-specific Safety & Health programs and ensure adherence to enterprise policies, programs, and procedures Develop and implement a strategic annual goal setting plan for eliminating injuries and accidents through proactive risk identification and mitigation Support enterprise sustainability goals and initiatives, promoting environmental programs at the local level You're a good fit if you have (or if you can): Strong understanding of government and professional organizations such as OSHA, Voluntary Protection program, NIOSH, NRC, ASSP NFPA, and the National Safety Council Experience and/or proven understanding of EPA, State, Local, OSHA, and DOT regulations, programs, and policies Ability to develop and maintain relationships with employees, leadership, and regulatory personnel Also want to make sure you have: Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge and experience may be considered in place of degree.5+ years’ experience in safety related role(s) with increasing levels of responsibilityEnvironmental experience a plus Experience in Safety and Health leadership roles in a manufacturing environmentOSHA Voluntary Protection Program experience preferred Currently hold or willingness to obtain additional education, safety certifications, and designations required.
