Job Summary:

We’re looking for a results-driven Email Marketing Strategist with expertise in HubSpot, Klaviyo, and Mailchimp. This role involves developing and executing full-funnel email programs that align with the client’s business and marketing goals, targeting the right audiences with the right campaigns. You’ll collaborate with team members from other marketing channels to create campaigns from strategy to execution and reporting.

As the agency’s HubSpot Marketing Hub expert , you'll stay current on platform features, lead certifications, and advise teams and clients on email marketing strategies and execution. You'll also create reports, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to refine performance.

Success in this role requires a strong B2B marketing background, cross-channel collaboration, and the ability to align email strategies with lifecycle stages, lead scoring, and sales cycle complexity.

Responsibilities:

  • Email marketing strategy and execution in Mailchimp, Klaviyo and HubSpot
    • Create holistic email programs for 10 - 15 clients - establish goals, what parts of the funnel are being targeted, which audiences we are targeting and with what messaging.
    • Create individual campaign strategies with specific goals, KPIs, number of emails, cadence, workflow, high-level messaging, and audience segmentation.
    • Work with the copywriting team to provide directions for the strategy and email best practices.
    • Build all of the elements including the emails* and audience segmentation, launch and report and adjust as needed.
      • *Working with a R55 designer as needed.
    • Report on results and provide recommendations for continued improvement - including testing (A/B when applicable) subject lines, email copy, layout, send times, etc.
  • Subject Matter Expert - HubSpot Marketing Hub
    • Become the subject matter expert in Marketing Hub at the agency.
    • Familiarity with Content Hub preferred.
    • Take and complete the top HubSpot marketing certifications.
    • Be on top of new marketing hub releases, features, changes in pricing/terms, etc.
    • Provide answers to questions from the internal team and clients.
    • Create and implement strategies for all features in HubSpot Marketing hub, including, but not limited to: forms, emails, reports, CTAs, Events, Ads and Social.
    • Build basic and out of the box marketing reports in HubSpot; analyze and provide recommendations to existing and future strategies.
    • Recommend and implement other HubSpot features that complement larger marketing efforts outside of email: workflows, forms, ad audiences/events, etc.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, particularly in the B2B space.
    • Collaborate with the other channels when creating strategies; have a base understanding of how those services work.
    • Ability to create inbound marketing strategies, including how email can be utilized throughout the marketing funnel.
    • Understand and shift strategies based on length of sales cycle and business model (B2B, B2C, ecommerce, etc.).
    • Collaborate with sales teams and define the criteria for lifecycle stages, particularly the difference between MQL and SQL.
    • Create lead scoring strategy, criteria and execution.
Requirements:

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a Professional Services delivery role (functional, technical, or project/program management).
  • Proven HubSpot proficiency; HubSpot certifications such as HubSpot Marketing Software Certification, HubSpot Sales Software Certification, and others are highly preferred.
  • Ability to break down large and complex projects and problems into manageable solutions while guiding the client through the process.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple client projects simultaneously, with a commitment to excellence.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels.
  • Self-starter with a strong bias for action and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced HubSpot certifications.
  • Prior success in delivering marketing services that have significantly improved client operational efficiency, revenue growth, and satisfaction.
  • Job experience in email marketing
  • Experience with additional CRM and marketing automation platforms is a plus.

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 - depending on experience and qualifications.
