EC/VC Corporate Associate - Mid-Level - San Francisco
The Business & Tax practice group in the San Francisco office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks a mid-level associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the areas of emerging company work, venture capital and growth capital investment transactions, and general corporate law. Candidates must have strong academic credentials, writing and drafting skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and be a team player.
Our practice represents the interests of emerging and mature companies in significant financing and M&A transactions in many industries, including fintech, health, digital media, consumer products/food and beverage, advertising, games, enterprise, software services, and retail, among others. The group provides excellent opportunities for professional development, promotion, and cross-office work.
The candidate must be a member or pending member of the California State Bar. This is a great opportunity for a confident, self-motivated associate with a desire to build a comprehensive corporate practice in a collegial environment. This position will be based out of the San Francisco office.

The annualized salary range for this position in California is $225,000 to $290,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial sick leave benefit is 80 hours of sick leave per year. Attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation from work each year, and it may vary depending on the needs of the clients and the firm. Additional voluntary benefits programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.
