Job Description

* Will be trained on company"s policies and procedures * Processes A/P invoices once they are received by the vendor and approved by department managers * Reviews the GL coding for all A/P invoices to ensure accuracy * Reviews cash receipts received from customers and processes A/R invoices in ERP system * Completes monthly bank reconciliations as assigned * Assists with A/R invoice collections and discrepancies with customer payments * Assists with A/P billing inquiries as needed * Assists with employee reimbursements by receiving, verifying, and posting expense report requests * Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions * Prepares and enters monthly journal entries for various general ledger accounts * Assists with the preparation of bi-weekly A/P check runs * Assists with month-end and year-end closing tasks as assigned * Assists the Controller with various administrative tasks and special projects as needed Job Requirements * Bachelor"s Degree in Accounting or Finance * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel, using vlookups and pivot tables) * Experience using ERP systems and databases is a plus * Detail-oriented and highly organized * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task or work independently * Ability to meet deadlines during month-end/year-end closing periods Synerfac
