Job Description: Dewberry's Raleigh, NC office is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer - Thermal Infrastructure, who will be responsible for the design of thermal infrastructure systems as a part of a project team. Experience in the design of institutional, educational, healthcare, laboratory and military projects is desired. The candidate should have a proven track record of solid design work, meeting project deadlines and budgets, and working well in a team environment. Responsibilities: Prepare mechanical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, project schedules and cost estimates to meet project requirements. Projects may include; design of thermal distribution systems, campus master planning, condition assessments, central utility plant design, district heating plants, building conversions. Required Skills & Required Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Passed the fundamentals of engineering (FE) exam 0-2 years of experience in the design of thermal distribution systems, central utility plants, and/or building HVAC systems. Self-motivated and well organized. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Drafting experience is a plus. Experience in AutoCAD and/or Civil3D is a plus.
