Responsibilities

• Support Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan inspections and ensuring compliance with applicable notification and reporting requirements.
• Conducting monthly stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) inspections and ensuring compliance with stormwater permitting requirements which may include stormwater sampling during a precipitation event.
• Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental data, ensuring accuracy and compliance (e.g., HMBP, Annual Waste Reports, etc.).
• Manage waste generated, manifests and recordkeeping in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Conduct inspections of hazardous waste areas and above ground storage tanks
• Assist with aste sampling and develop waste profiles, manifests, and chains of custody.
• Support existing file management systems on SharePoint for relevant analysis, plan updates, inspections, etc.
• Support the execution of environmental programs, such as waste minimization, recycling, and circularity strategies, ensuring alignment with CA regulations.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, or Science related field.
• 3 years of compliance experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
