Job Description

Our client, a contract sewing company, is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production of custom-ordered sewn products. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Suamico, WI

Pay Range: $18 - $24/hour

What's the Job?

• Analyze problems and fix sewing and other finishing machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on sewing and other finishing machines (hand cutters, grommeters, snap, and rivet machines).
• Research and order parts for machines.
• Maintain a stock of parts for common machines.
• Provide some light building maintenance and back-up for forklift operations.

What's Needed?

• Able to work with small, intricate parts.
• Some electrical background.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with input from supervisors.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
