The Role: The EVS Attendant is responsible for maintaining public spaces within a facility clean and safe. They are responsible for removing hazards, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, emptying ashtrays and trash receptacles, wiping down surfaces and performing other housecleaning tasks. Additionally, public area attendants may greet customers, answer customer questions and relay customer needs to other employees or to their supervisor. They store resources for the public area according to health and safety guidelines and attend staff meetings as needed.
Responsibilities: - Physically removes litter from Public Areas, cleans ashtrays, slot machines, spills, broken glass, etc.
- Cleans and stocks restrooms as assigned, informing the Supervisor of any low inventories.
- Cleans various offices, lounges, gift shops, etc. as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of employee areas.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the EVS Supervisor.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Regular scheduled attendance required.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s).
Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to write reports and read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Planning, Remembering Details, Reading, Making Decisions, Working Rapidly, Working at Various Tempos, Concentrating Amid Distractions, Examining & Observing Details.
Physical Demands: Standing, Walking for long periods of time, Reaching, Kneeling, Carrying, Pulling, Lifting and Pushing up to 50lbs, Bending/Stooping, Observing, Stretching, Turning, Balancing.
Work Environment: Inside, Dry, Noisy, Heat, Hot, High Places, Hazards Fumes/Chemicals, Outside, Wet, Odors, Changing Temperatures, Cold, Dirty, Gloves, Smoking Environment.
