Excavation Manager

We are a family owned developer/builder in business for more than 35 years and operating in 6 states along the east coast. We are looking for an excavation manager to oversee projects in the south central PA and Maryland areas. 

 

What you will be doing

To provide on-site supervision and coordination for all phases of Excavation. As an Excavation Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring team members are operating machine(s) daily in a safe and efficient manner. This position is a crucial member, supporting and setting pace with the crew, ensuring all projects are done safely and to company standards. Leading and training your team members is also a crucial part of success in this position. You must maintain production of the jobs and communicate efficiently with the project managers and directors to ensure work is being done effectively.

--This it not just site work. This role will be involved in all phases of construction until project is completed--

What you need

10+ years of residential construction experience 
4+ years overseeing excavation crews in a residential setting 
Ability to problem solve, balancing team vs individual responsibilities, prioritizes work activities and uses time efficiently 
Ability to work on site in south central PA and parts of MD
