About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Continuing Education in Health and Wellness. The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for all non-credit workforce, professional, and personal development programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring the division's alignment with the company's mission and the economic needs of the community. The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management, growth, and financial sustainability of the division, overseeing curriculum development, marketing, enrollment management, budget administration, and staff supervision. Key responsibilities include driving program innovation, establishing relationships with community stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also involves serving as the primary liaison with external partners and coordinating with other college departments to support seamless integration of non-credit programs. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years' of progressive leadership experience in a higher education or continuing education setting. A Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in budget management, strategic planning, and program development. Essential skills include the ability to identify industry trends, create responsive non-credit courses, and foster strategic partnerships. The role requires strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to lead, supervise, and mentor a high-performing team. The Executive Director will also be responsible for ensuring the division's programs meet the needs of the community and are in compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
