About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Social Impact, a pivotal role that involves strategic leadership and oversight of various social responsibility initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Social Impact division, which includes shelter services, drop-in and outreach services, and prevention coalition activities. This role requires a strong focus on grant and government contract procurement and management, as well as the ability to position the organization as a valued partner in the community. The Executive Director will also be involved in training and leading staff in grant research, developing strategies for volunteer and board member engagement, and ensuring compliance with state and local contracts. Candidates for the Executive Director position must have a proven track record in social impact and be adept at fostering positive relationships across various sectors. The role demands a leader who can effectively manage budgets, provide guidance on best practices, and supervise program leaders. Essential functions include serving as the primary leader of the Social Impact division, participating in legislative advocacy, and acting as the Association Lead for the Functional Zero movement. The ideal candidate will be a champion of inclusion, with the ability to empathically listen, communicate, and facilitate change. A flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends, is required, as is the ability to travel locally and participate in the on-call administrator rotation.
