Are you passionate about working with dogs and ensuring they look and feel their best? Do you have experience bathing dogs of all breeds and sizes? Hot Diggity Dog Resort, located in Escondido, CA, is looking for an Experienced Dog Bather to join our team of compassionate pet care professionals.

Job Responsibilities

As an Experienced Dog Bather, you will:

• Bathe dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Perform pre-bath grooming services such as brushing, de-shedding, and nail trims.
• Recognize and address potential skin or coat issues and communicate findings to the grooming team.
• Ensure work areas, tubs, and tools are clean and sanitized after each use.
• Maintain a calm, gentle demeanor to keep dogs comfortable and relaxed during baths.
• Work collaboratively with the grooming and daycare teams to ensure smooth scheduling and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience bathing dogs in a grooming, veterinary, or pet care environment.
• Knowledge of dog breeds and coat types, including appropriate bathing and de-shedding techniques.
• Ability to handle dogs up to 75 lbs. comfortably and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and passionate about working with dogs.
