Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a per diem Family Medicine Physician to join Valley Health Services, a long-term care and short-term rehabilitation facility in Herkimer, NY. The physician will work traditional weekday hours in a collaborative environment using EMR systems such as Point Click Care and EPIC. Candidates must be board eligible or certified, hold NYS licensure, and have required certifications including ACLS, PALS, and DEA registration.

Herkimer, New York is nestled in the foothills of the Adirondack State Park Mountains, fifteen miles east of Utica, NY, Valley Health Services evolved from a thirty-two bed facility to its current size and is a major health care provider and vital community asset. There is a strong feeling of community within this region, which attracts people from all over the country. This vast region offers the best of both worlds. The surrounding areas have an abundance of lakes, streams and recreational options.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

1. Traditional Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
2. Collaborative Working Environment
3. EMR – Point Click Care & EPIC
4. Hourly Rate - $150

Job Qualifications:

1. MD, DO or MBBS
2. Board Eligible or Board Certified
3. NYS Licensure
4. ACLS / PALS
5. DEA Required
