Golf Shop Attendant
Golf course in Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.
Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while assisting with their golfing needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, strong communication skills, and the ability to upsell products effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries regarding golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, ensuring that all merchandise is displayed attractively.
• Process sales transactions accurately using retail math skills and ensure proper handling of cash and credit card payments.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of various golf items.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance sales.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
Requirements:
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory effectively.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
A passion for golf or knowledge of golf products is a plus but not mandatory.
Compensation:
$10.00 – $12.00 per hour.
