Duties & Responsibilities: Summary:

The Gutter and Window Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of rain gutter systems and residential windows. This role ensures proper drainage and weatherproofing to protect buildings from water damage and energy loss, and upholds the quality standards of Continental Siding.

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday, 7 am - 4 pm or until job duties are completed

Essential Duties:

· Measure and assess installation areas

· Read and interpret blueprints and work orders

· Cut, shape, and secure gutters and downspouts

· Seal joints and connections to prevent leaks

· Install gutter guards to prevent debris buildup

· Inspect and repair existing gutter systems

· Remove old windows and prepare openings for new installations

· Install residential windows with proper sealing and alignment

· Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards

· Inspect completed work for compliance and customer satisfaction

· Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Communicate professionally with clients and team members

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE — Experience in construction, roofing, or a related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS — Able to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and operating instructions. Able to speak English clearly and professionally when interacting with customers and team members.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS — Able to measure and calculate dimensions using standard and metric systems. Ability to compute material needs and basic geometry used in installations.

REASONING ABILITY — Able to assess situations and solve problems related to installation challenges in a variety of field conditions. Must exercise sound judgment and adapt to unique customer or structural needs.

COMPUTER SKILLS — Basic understanding of mobile devices or apps used for work orders or job reporting is preferred.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 75 pounds. Must be comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions. The role requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
