Job Description This is not a remote position. The Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist is primarily responsible for chart analysis, both quantitative and qualitative. This includes reviewing medical records for accuracy and completeness, assigning provider deficiencies, and ensuring timely completion in accordance with regulatory standards. The role involves assisting providers with record completion, validating deficiencies, and collecting data for regulatory reporting and hospital operations. The position requires gathering information from electronic and paper sources and providing office support within the HIM Department.
